Remember to loosen the lug nuts while the tire is on the ground before you jack them up. If you lift the car first, then those wheels will go round and round as you try to turn the nuts. BUT DON'T completely remove them, just loosen them on the ground.

And always keep your body part OUT from UNDER the car. Those stupid little jacks do fall over in soft and uneven ground.

Finally after the tires is replace, tighten them again once the tires are touching the ground (for the same reason as above).

Be safe and Good Luck

Does anyone know how to change a tyer on a car?Your car should have a lug wrench that fits the lug nuts holding the tire on. Before jacking the car up...on a flat surface and with the parking brake applied, loosen the lug nuts by turning them counter clockwise with the lug wrench. Once they are lose, then jack the car up so that the tire is off the ground...remove the lug nuts and then the tire. Place the spare onto the wheel hub lining up the lugs with the holes in the wheel of the tire. Put the lug nuts back on the lugs and hand tighten them as much as you can. Lower the jack till the tire touches the ground and then use the lug wrench to tighten the lug nuts. make sure the wheel is seated properly on the wheel hub with the lug bolts. It should be flat against the wheel hub. After the nuts are tight you may lower the car all the way down and remove the jack. You should be ready to go
