How do I get into the car world?
Only answer this question if you have legitimately worked on cars before (like actually supped up a car not just changed a tire) Alright I have basically no knowledge about cars. I mean I know how an engine works and all the main components of an engine, but thats about it. So how do I start working on cars. I don't want to make a car that has like 650 ponies. I want to take an older car and make it like new again and replace engine parts and do some body work. So where should I begin? My dad suggested buying a car from a junkyard just to tinker with the engine. Anyways, what is my first step to getting into cars? How did you start working on cars? How do I get into the car world?ive been in the buis for over 35 years.its not that easy getting into it anymore because there are no full service stations.i started at my dads station pumping gas and changing tires.moved up to cleaning the shop and helping the mechanics/just a gopher for the mechanic but i watched and listened and started learning.moved up to brakes and suspension.its been a long road and cars are getting so complicated i really cant wait to retire.good luck and many happy years in the buis. How do I get into the car world?go to college and get a masters in engineering. that will get your very far.How do I get into the car world?Pimp my rideHow do I get into the car world?I would just try it. I learned most of what I know about cars by researching online, talking to people about it, and for the most part just figuring it out by myself. Then, if you get stuck you can ask for help.
