How to maintain a car?

I only check and add air to my tires once in a while. What else should I be doing so that my car is running smoothly? change oil... rotating tires.. etc.How to maintain a car?



Every week or at gas fill-up

Check fluid levels

Oil

Coolant

Wiper fluid

Power steering fluid

Check tire condition and pressure

Every 3,000 miles

Change engine oil and filter

Check hoses for leaks or bulges

Check wiper blades

Check tread depth on all tires

Check battery terminals and cables for corrosion

Every 7,500 miles

Service battery

Rotate and balance tires

Check brake pad wear

Every 15,000 miles

Flush and fill transmission fluid and change transmission filter

Replace air and fuel filters

Replace PCV and breather element

Replace carbon canister filter

Lubricate doors, locks, hinges, and parking brake

Check alignment

Check CV joint boots

Every 30,000 miles

Flush and replace radiator coolant

Flush and refill brake fluid

Replace distributor cap, rotor, and wires

Replace spark plugs

Replace differential/transfer case fluid

Inspect exhaust system

Replace cabin air filter

Every 60,000 miles

Flush and refill power steering fluid

Replace timing belt or chain
