When changing a flat tire some cars have a special "key" to losen a special bolt. Does a 1999 Jetta have this?

I know some care have a special bolt that you need a special %26quot;key%26quot; to use in conjuction with the lugwrench to remove it, whereas the other bolts are just plain vanilla ones that can be easily removed via the lugwrench. I recentely purchased a used 1999 Jetta. How can I tell if I need this special Key? If I do need it and don't have it where can I get one? When changing a flat tire some cars have a special %26quot;key%26quot; to losen a special bolt. Does a 1999 Jetta have this? For the most part, yes Jetta's have Locking Lugnut Keys. All you have to do is look at the lugnuts on the tires. If one is different than all the others, then Yes you need the Key. The key should be attached to you Tire Iron. It should be found in your trunk with your Jack. If you have no success finding the key, all you have to do is call your local VW dealer, ask for the Parts Department, and tell them that you need a LOCKING LUGNUT KEY FOR A 99 JETTA. good luckWhen changing a flat tire some cars have a special %26quot;key%26quot; to losen a special bolt.
