About how much do car tires cost?

I was told that I may need to get mine replaced. The other day I was driving with a friend and the roads were barely wet because it had rained several hours before and as I was trying to stop at a red light my car skid several feet and I swerved a little. I'm hoping it's because my tires suck and not my brakes. But anyhow, how much would I be paying for them? I'm assuming it's not cheap so I may end up buying them one at a time. By the way I've had my car for four and a half years and have only had one tire changed (because I got a flat).About how much do car tires cost?Depends on the tire, size, speed rating, brand etc... Look on craigslist for a good deal and yeah the really cheap ones will have names you've never heard of AND yes they do come from China %26amp; other far east countries. Hey what doesn't these days! But they work just fine... We sell tons of them.About how much do car tires cost?WOW, u need new tires soon. they prolly cost arround 50 bucks for 1 tire. it depends what kind of tire you buy. some cost over 200 dollarsAbout how much do car tires cost?Tires can range anywhere from 30 bucks a piece to 800 bucks each! I am betting that since you have a car, they will be closer to 50! Look at the side of your tire. There should be some lettering like 25/75-15, write that down then Go to discounttiredirect.com You should be able to get a price quote from them on all sorts and price ranges of tires to match your ride. If you can't see the lettering on the side of your tire that website has a window that should be able to match tires with the year/make/ model of your car. But it's not always accurate especially if you have after market rims.About how much do car tires cost? You should never just do one at a time, as it compromises the handling. Best to do either two or four. In Australia (where I live) a decent brand will generally cost between $100-$200 each, so they would cost a little less than that in the USA.

If your car skidded, then I don't think it's your brakes, though I would say that you DESPERATELY need new tires! They must be almost completely bald if they did that! I'm surprised you haven't been pulled over by the police! Then again, the road may have been a bit oily. But four and a half years? I would think your tires definitely need replacing by now. Put a matchstick in between one of the treads. If the head of the match goes all the way in, then your tires are okay. If it doesn't, then you need new tires.

It's better to buy a quality brand, because they will last longer, thereby saving you money in the long term.About how much do car tires cost?At 4 years...your tires have more than worn out. It depends on the tires of course, especially how large they are.

Most cars...Corollas, Civics, etc have 15 inch tyres and are about $100-$125 each. If you have a more sportier sedan or coupe, you might have 16, or 17 inch tyres, about $125-170 each. If you have a luxury car, or sports car, they most likely have 18 inch tyres or more...$200+ each.

It's never a good idea to buy just one tyre...it's not even a good idea to buy 2...you really should buy all 4 at the same time. You'll end up with more traction on one side than the other, which is never a good idea. Total for 4 new tyres including installation, balance, etc for a Corolla should run about $600 at most shops.

As an alternative, as tyres can be expensive. Is to go used tyres. Now...I understand there is a negative stigma towards used products. But used tyres are actually a very good deal. Most used tyres have more than 70% of their life left. Check your yellow pages...if you negotiate a little, most places will give you 4 tyres installed for about $100.

Replacing used tyres for my Acura TL - $100

I saved about $900 by buying used tyres. I think it's a great solution, especially if buying 4 new tyres does not make financial sense.About how much do car tires cost?well nadia it depends on what size tires are on your car, some small cars have 13 or 14 or 15 inch tires on them, generally the smaller the diameter the cheaper. If you have a costco card, this is about the best tire prices available, another company americas discount tires is almost dollar for dollar the same as costco price wise, both companies have a website, you can type the co. name in the web search box and go from there, americas discount tires has a website where people can write comments good or bad about the service and about the tires they bought, I generally stick with brands I am familiar with, and have had good luck with durability and performance particularly in the rain. usually some type of all season tire works for my needs, bf goodrich and michelin are good tires for light duty pickups, and goodyear eagle gt has a tire that works excellent for passenger car,

you can compare prices with wal mart also, they are usually five or ten bucks higher than costco or americas discount tire, but walmart has good brand name tires too. and I have had no problem returning a product that did not meet my needs. now adays, several companies have fifty or 60 dollar off incentives to buy four tires, and if you start checking the web sites well in advance, you may catch a sale on some tires and get out the door with some new rubber and a much safer car. good luck hope this helpsAbout how much do car tires cost?last time I bought, a good set of water tires was about 600.About how much do car tires cost?Depends i need to know the make and model to give an estimate.
