Chances my car will break down?

I drive a 2004 mini cooper and all the tires are new. Just yesterday i had a mechanic look at it and say nothing was wrong but im going to be driving for 12 hours straight and im a little nervous.. Also i have AAA so im safe if anything DOES happen but i just really dont (especially a flat tire, cause i dont know how to change that..)
