Is it a good deal to buy this car?

1995 Nissan Altima GLE with auto transmission rebuilt by AAMCO because of fluid leakage, timing belt not changed, new tires, new batteries, a noticeable dent at the front-driver's end and the interior has unclean floor mats.

miles driven:87K

Asking price: 3750$

Car is in san jose, california. I would really appreciate your help if you could tell me a price to negotiate and valid reasons like how much will it cost to fix the dent/timing belt etc.Is it a good deal to buy this car? It's worth about $1400-$1800. Fixing the transmission isn't going to increase the value of the car.

The car doesn't have a timing belt, it has a chain. Unless it's making a rattling noise, it should never need to be replaced. I've had Nissans over 200K miles w/ no problems on the timing chain. Is it a good deal to buy this car?as much as I am partial to nissans, and that this car has relatively low miles due to the body work and replacing the timing belt, I would not recomend buying this car. I would check craigslist.org most of the time if you spend enough time looking you will find a great deal on a newer car.Is it a good deal to buy this car?Take a look at this site and see what that car is actually worth.

Just because a car has been fixed does not mean it's worth it.
