I guess we are all allowed an opinion, and mine is that with the info you provided it is not a bad deal, you could do much worse. But what the heck do these comps straight from KBB.com All with same miles, comparable equipment, good condition, private party values.

If have dents, problems under the hood, even 87k miles sounds like a bad deal to me.
You should look to other cars. I know the San Diego and LA area and you can get cheap cars there.
But you may try www.craigslist.org look for you nearest city and then cars%26amp;trucks.
